Our Instructors 

Founder & Piano Instructor 

Founded in 2014 by Ms. Kristy, a skilled piano performer and teacher, Music Garden Studio believes that everyone has musical talents, and music can meet the needs of each person. Ms. Kristy draws inspiration from thriving flowers, understanding that individuals can flourish with the right care.

With 16 years of experience in teaching music to young children, Ms. Kristy brings a wealth of knowledge to her music classes. Before diving into advanced music education, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a focus on piano education from Seattle Pacific University. Ms. Kristy also completed training in Dalcroze Eurhythmics with Dr. Julie Black and Musikgarten teacher training with Dr. Lorna Lytz Heyge, a leading expert in early childhood education.

 

Ms. Kristy aims to be a teacher who understands the unique needs of each individual. She strongly believes in everyone's uniqueness and is committed to creating a warm, fun, and healthy environment for musical and mental growth, tailored to each person's journey.

Violin Instructor 

Mr. Will is a highly qualified music educator, holding a Bachelor of Music degree with a double major in music composition and music technology from Seattle Pacific University. With over 20 years of violin experience, he has actively engaged in teaching violin lessons and participating in performances, including playing in the esteemed Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra. Over the past three years, William has dedicated himself to teaching violin to students of all ages in the Greater Seattle area, bringing a wealth of expertise and passion to his musical classroom.
