Offered Lessons

We offer every prospective student free trial lesson to assess his or her music proficiency level. If the student is transferring from another teacher, we will review what the student already knows and develop a teaching plan based on the assessment.   Private piano/violin Lesson

Embark on a musical journey with our in person, virtual, and hybrid private piano and violin lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. We offer flexible scheduling to fit the needs of each family and warmly welcome beginners through advanced musicians ages 5 and older.

Our experienced instructors tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on healthy technique, thoughtful repertoire, and creative musical skills. Learning is engaging and joyful as we incorporate creativity, storytelling, and humor into lessons. Students are encouraged to explore a wide range of musical styles, from classical foundations to popular and contemporary works, fostering both skill and curiosity.

In person lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60 minute sessions and are held in a comfortable and safe teaching space within the instructor’s Seattle home. All instructors are fully vaccinated.

Virtual lessons are also available in 30, 45, and 60 minute sessions and are conducted over Zoom, which provides strong audio and teaching features that support effective learning.

Hybrid lessons combine in person and virtual instruction, allowing students to alternate between lesson formats as needed. This option works well for families with busy schedules, travel, or occasional illnesses, while still maintaining consistency, personal connection, and steady musical progress. Hybrid students receive the same individualized instruction and curriculum as in person students.

Lessons prepare students to play confidently with others through piano duets, chamber music groups, school orchestras, and additional ensemble settings. Throughout the year, students are invited to participate in studio recitals, and on occasion, may take part in workshops and music festivals such as Seattle Young Artists and the Performing Festival of the Eastside.

Our goal is to share the joy of music while nurturing steady growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of making music together.
